Forest Lodge Hotel - Lyndhurst

Brilliant location in the new forest, easy to get anywhere. Situated only 1 km from Aa Bike Hire. Cheap queen room with toiletries and bunk bed plus lovely views. Substantial breakfast - lots of meals.

It was compact, modern and with comfortable bed.

The location within Lyndhurst is incredible, I think definitely it is the best part of the hotel. The facilities, staff and breakfast were also ok. It has an in door swimming pool as well very nice.

I think the ratio value/money is not good enough. The hotel is ok but I think the price is too much and there is not such a detail that could justify the price, except the location. As example, when we arrive at 1300 (one hour early of the check in) and the staff were not especially friendly, even we had to keep out stuff in the car, no other option was given to us. Sometimes things like that makes the difference!

The location for walking in the new forest was excellent.Enjoyed a daily swim in the nice pool. Quiet, comfortable room.

Couldn't make the sauna hot !

Airy and immaculate units with twin beds, toiletries and sleeping baby upstairs.

The staff were reely friendly n helpful, great location close to the village. Breakfast was super good, a small buffet plus hot dishes u could order. Swimmimg pool was nice n clean, we enjoyed it every day. Our room was sound proof, hardly heard any other guests.

Great service, attentive and efficient. The young man on the desk was superb. Sorting out the booking problem caused by you.

The swimming pool is lovely, and very clean. No-one in attendance, so no limit on the number of towels. Standard of food at dinner was really high, absolutely excellent, delicious, well balanced dishes, and good to look at. For once, we had no complaints about the standard of lighting in our room- to read in bed, to put on make up.

Room could have been a little bigger. Only the Daily Mail in the lounge. Even in summer a little fire burning in the grate would have looked better.The receptionist should have shown us right to our room.

I appreciated the beautiful decor and spacious lounge areas, easy to navigate. The staff were accommodating.

More vegetarian breakfast options would be nice.

Good size comfortable room, helpful staff and reasonable facilities

Walls between rooms not well soundproofed and noise of tv and snoring was disturbing

The location was perfect for exploring the New Forest, and the staff was friendly and cute. Our Standard Double Room was cozy, clean, and equipped with a comfortable bed and good tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was a delight, served by a lovely young lady who was very attentive.

The bar closed before eleven even though we were under the impression it would be open for a night cap. We were able to take a drink to the room but was not quite the same

A wonderful hotel, room very comfortable, staff very helpful,food was fantastic a very high standard. Although we didn't use the pool it looked inviting.A perfect location for a holiday break in the New Forest, only 5 minutes walk from Lyndhurst and less to be in the Forest. It's not often you find a hotel that ticks all the boxes, very impressed. We will return.
